Why do you think it is important to celebrate our culture?

→ The reason why it is important to us is so our culture doesn't die out. It is good to remember where we came from, where our family came from, it is part of our blood, it is our home, our bubble. Our culture means everything to all of us. We can all learn different languages, their traditional dances, food and travel around the world to different countries. Being a part of a culture that influences our learning, remembering, talking and behaving helps us to acknowledge our ancestors. It is also important so we can keep the fire burning so that when the next generation comes the culture will be alive. It will keep the cultural tradition alive for the future generations. I'm happy to learn and to keep my culture and I'm proud of being Tongan, samoan, Pakeha, and I love my culture just the way it is and i love all my family that are in tonga samoa australia New zealand america and other countries. We should all love our family and love our own culture because your culture is your home, it is where your family is from, it is your blood, it is part of your heart.
